With the launch of the iPhone 7, the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack was removed, and likely won’t be available on any new iPhone’s going forward.
Apple included some new headphones that connected via the lightning adapter port, and a lightning to 3.5mm adapter, however since this is also used for charging, many people have turned to Bluetooth to connect their headphones.
But those with an investment in expensive 3.5mm headphones don’t want to go out and buy a new set, and so bluetooth adapters are filling that gap.
The latest, launching today on Kickstarter is the “Jack” Bluetooth audio adaptor from Podo Labs.
Jack works with any phone, tablet, computer, or smart watch with Bluetooth output. No headphone jack? No sweat.
Jack is wearable and sleek, accented by a premium steel clip. Clip it to your clothes or pocket and keep wires tucked out of the way. Only 1 x 2 x 0.25 inches and 20 grams.
Jack – Bluetooth Audio Adapter features:
Social sharing feature
12 hrs playback time
Supports in-line mic and volume controls
Can receive and transmit
Sleek and wearable, with steel clip
Sharing mode makes it easy to enjoy music with a friend. Sync two Jacks and split the audio from one device—whether it’s a playlist on your phone or a movie on your computer.
