And it’s back on again. This time it’s v5.0.1, and the only extra changes are: Apparently, the update is

Merry (early) Christmas, OnePlus 5 owners. Oxygen OS 5.0 is now out of beta for the OnePlus 5. Not only do you get to enjoy a holiday taste of Android 8.0 Oreo, but this update also includes the latest security patches for December. The OTA is incrementally rolling out now so it could be a while before you see it, though. 
OnePlus announced the news at around 10AM today (though the thread on OnePlus’ forums has a publication date of Friday the 22nd, the announcement didn’t actually go up until today). The update clocks in at around 1587MB, so maybe connect to Wi-Fi before downloading it. The full changelog for this update is below:
