Galaxy Tab S8 Series To Launch Alongside The Galaxy S22

Games News

This is something we assumed a while back, but a well-known tipster, Max Jambor, just confirmed it. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series will launch alongside the Galaxy S22 trio in early February.

The Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series devices will launch at the same time

The Galaxy Tab S8 tablets have leaked several times lately, and the Galaxy S22 series has been leaking for months now, basically. So, Samsung plans to showcase its flagship smartphones and tablets at the same time. That does make sense.

In case you’re wondering how many Galaxy Tab S8 tablets are coming, the answer is three. So, Samsung plans to announce the same number of flagship smartphones and tablets next month.

The Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will be joined by the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra. Even the naming schemes are aligned, which is always nice to see, as it makes things less confusing for consumers.

The Galaxy Tab S8 series actually leaked in renders quite recently. It seems like the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will feature a notch on the front, which will host two 12-megapixel cameras.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab S8 and S8+ in 8GB RAM variants with 128GB/256GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, on the other hand, will arrive in either 8GB or 16GB RAM models, with 128GB/512GB of storage.

All six devices will offer 120Hz displays

You can also expect to get 120Hz displays on all three tablets, though the vanilla Tab S8 will not utilize an OLED display, it seems. The other two tablets will, and the ‘Ultra’ will have the largest displays. Based on the information provided in leaks, we can expect 11-inch, 12.7-inch, and 14.6-inch displays on these three tablets, respectively.

The Galaxy S22 series, on the other hand, will also differ in comparison, especially the S22 Ultra. That handset will resemble the Galaxy Note 20 series, as it will look considerably different than its siblings.

These devices are expected to launch on February 9, based on the latest report. If we consider all reports from the last couple of weeks, it’ll be either February 8 or 9.
