Every time Samsung launches a new Galaxy S range of flagships there are stories about how this year there will be a noticeable bump in pricing. The Galaxy S23 series is no different, but thanks to a leaked Verizon document, it would seem that Samsung is holding steady and keeping the pricing the same as last year – starting from $799 for the base model.
The leaked Verizon document found its way to Reddit before being picked up by 9to5Google, listing the Galaxy S23 series as the “Samsung Diamond Series”. According to the leak, the base model will start from $799, the Galaxy S23+ from $999, and the Ultra from $1,199.
The document also reveals that the Galaxy S23 series will go on general sale on February 17, which leaves a couple of weeks for pre-orders to be placed after the February 1st launch. Don’t forget, you can reserve a Galaxy S23 and pick up $50 in store credit via the Samsung Store linked below, all without spending a penny. You can even go hands-on with the new phones at one of Samsung’s 29 Galaxy Experience Places that are opening up after the launch event on February 1st.
